oh well

I ripped the scarf out ... it was curling *way* to much and I just can't see putting the work into it when it's not perfect. (I didn't think rib stitch would curl, but I guess my 4/2 pattern didn't work w/ this yarn.
I'm going to try the "Interlocking Balloons" pattern again. I suck at charts, maybe I'll just type out the directions.

spam

well, i have had to del. quite a few spam comments ... I see that it's going around.
I'll do my best to keep them out of my blog, but if I can't I'll have to go "no comments"

On the stix

I'm currently working my husband's Christmas gift, a scarf (what a shock). It's Peruvian Tweed, quite the "manly yarn." It's a simple rib stitch of 4P2K rib. Size 6 needles. Yes *I* said SIX. lol I went against my better judgment and went below a 7. This thing is going to take me forever to finish lol ... good thing my husband is short!
I'm also working on Shannon's sweater ... while I love the home spun yarn, both the look and knitting w/ it. I have decided that I don't want Denise needles. The chord is to thick and the yarn does not slide smoothly around the circulars. I spend more time moving the project around the needles than I do actually knitting.

This bag is going to rock.

Nothing to do w/ Knitting

Why doesn't the MUTE button work on my children?
I push it, and nothing happens. Maybe I should check the batteries.
ok about knitting ... if they would GO TO BED for the night ... I could finish my project lol
They seem hell bent on "helping me" The Toddler found my knitting needles and brought them to me. She didn't seem to notice the needles were ATTACHED to a project and she left the project behind.
ahh ... well... at least she *thought* she was helping :)

Oh .. and more on the Yarn Diet

It's helping ... I'm knitting at night and not snacking on junk :)
now If I could knit and swim laps at the same time ... ;)

Not much going on here

I need to finish a project. ANYTHING.
My goal for the day is to finish a VERY pink VERY fuzzy VERY girlie poncho for my 6 yo.
I need to take a drive over to PC's and pick up a sk. of pink fuzz. Man, this poncho is costing me more to make than what I thought it would. $20 bucks so far ... and I'm sure I'll spend another $10 today. This kid better like it! lol
I remember telling my husband when I picked knitting back up "Hey, I'll be able to make cool gifts on the cheap."
wrong.
Anyway, back to finishing a project ... I have a ton of stuff started and nothing finished. I have to change that.
